Karen is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Herbalist, who weaves together Jungian and Transpersonal Psychology, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and a hearty sprinkling of the Wise Woman Herbal Tradition. For the past two decades, Karen has been in intimate relationship to the Plants, who have been her soul’s psychopomps into the archetypal, symbolic and nourishing world of the Divine Feminine in Nature. This orientation has influenced and informed her exploration of Jungian psychology, and thus, her development and evolution both as a psychotherapist and as a person. Karen began her professional life as a Human Resources Manager, where she successfully created work place environments of respect, cooperation and open communication. She has recently worked for Boulder County as a Case Manager for families living in poverty. Karen has a Master of Arts in Transpersonal Counseling Psychology from Naropa University, a Master of Business Administration from Arkansas State University, and Certificates in Herbalism from the Rocky Mountain Center for Botanical Studies and the Western Herbal Tradition. In her psychotherapy practice in Boulder, she utilizes her varied background to assist clients in exploring issues around adoption, mothering, the challenges and joys of life’s transitions, loss and grief, and HIV/AIDS.

Eleni Levidi, M.S., BC-DMT, LPC

Eleni practices privately in Boulder as board certified dance-movement therapist and licensed professional counselor, holds a Master of Science in Dance-Movement Therapy, and studies at the C. G. Jung Institute of Colorado.  Since a very early age, attention to dreams and spontaneous movement drew her to believe in the healing power of both.  With a dual degree in Psychology and Dance while studying graduate Special Education and Counseling in the 80’s, she pioneered dance-movement therapy in her native Greece.  Eleni taught as clinical mentor and group process leader at Naropa University’s Somatic Psychology Department, and faculty in Performing Arts.  Having worked with diverse populations, ages and settings for almost three decades, she has also held certifications in group psychotherapy and geriatrics consultation.  Her interests and studies in Jungian psychology, shamanism, esoteric traditions and subtle energies, and her respect for Body Wisdom as healer and aspect of the archetypal Feminine, converge in her Authentic Movement expertise.  She incorporates this discipline in her psychotherapeutic practice, groups, and workshops she offers privately and in venues such as the Laban Centre in London, the Isadora Duncan Centre in Athens, the C. G. Jung Society of Colorado Springs and others.  Eleni directs a four-year training program in Authentic Movement.
